As a painter myself I can tell you that art is for centuries an exclusive men's club, but I appreciate that male artists don't care about gender anymore and call you artist not female artist which is how it should be. Gender does not play a role. The money tells us otherwise as the most influential collectors are still men who want to buy men. It's changing, slowly but surely.

One small suggestion - try to great the paragraphs a bit more to make it mobile friendly. It will be less content heavy and easier to read.
