It was an interesting situation for team management and communication. The team's purpose was to serve a few signed accounts. So, they usually worked together in pairs, mini teams, and some were buddies for new people and focused on training. While they were used to relying on each other and helping here and there, with new people, it got always a bit disrupted since buddies trained and tried to involve people in projects and get to engage them with other members.
In this case, the collaboration with the newcomer did not work and I can tell you everyone was relieved when the decision was made :).
